ACHIEVE YOUR CHURCH’S VISION BY INTENTIONAL LEADERSHIP DEVELOPMENT

God’s Vision for a Church is delivered to its leader and implemented in partnership with a team of volunteers or paid staff. While God’s work is done through Grace and an Anointing, the place of Leadership Capacity cannot be overlooked. The effect of the Anointing in growing your church can be exponentially amplified by the increased leadership proficiency of your leaders.

The GREATER CHURCH LEADER PROGRAM is a 6-month capacity building experience that leverages training and coaching to cultivate capacity for vision alignment & engagement, and, people awareness & execution capability for leaders reporting to lead pastors and those in view for similar role.

This unique 6-month program will equip your key leaders with the skills needed to actively support lead pastors in exceeding expectations with regards to the work assigned to them by being more efficient in execution and leading people assigned to them with their HEART, HEAD & HANDS which in turn will unlock greater levels of commitment and results.

LEARNING OUTCOMES


By the end of each month, participants would have demonstrated increased capacity in the functional competence focused on during that month.

By the end of this program, participants will be able to:

  • Operate authentic and effective leadership that is transformational, visionary and inspiring
  • Operate daily from a point of alignment between their personal aspirations and your goals as a church
  • Demonstrate balanced leadership with a push for exceptional execution on goals and building relationships with peers and manage volunteers while at it
  • Take initiative in developing and deploying creative solutions in doing the work they have been assigned and deliver more efficient execution on set performance goals
  • Demonstrate stronger capacity for connecting with people in their teams, within and outside church which will enable them in attracting more individuals and families within your local community to church and getting them settled in
  • Resolve conflict in a more effective manner at any level within their teams and in working with other teams in church
  • Identify leadership-ready staff and actively raise their leadership capacity using effective coaching and mentoring tools

PROGRAM MODULES

The program’s learning journey is divided into 3 stages that cover the foundations of impactful leadership.

PHASE 1: LEAD SELF

This training on self-awareness aims to enhance participants’ understanding of their own strengths, weaknesses, emotions, and values as they relate to their roles as leaders. Through various interactive exercises, reflective practices, and assessments, participants delve into their personal leadership styles, communication patterns, and decision-making processes. The training encourages them to recognize their blind spots and areas for improvement, fostering a deeper sense of self-awareness essential for effective leadership. By honing this skill, participants can better navigate complex interpersonal dynamics, inspire others, and lead with authenticity and empathy.

Participants will learn how to cultivate a culture of creativity, encourage bold ideas, and take calculated risks among team members. The training also emphasizes techniques for identifying opportunities, challenging conventional thinking, and harnessing diverse perspectives to generate innovative solutions to complex problems faced in the execution of their responsibilities. Participants also explore strategies for overcoming resistance to change, fostering collaboration, and effectively implementing creative initiatives. By mastering the art of creative initiative, leaders can inspire their teams and drive continuous improvement.

This module will focus on equipping participants with the skills and strategies necessary to significantly improve productivity and making informed and timely decisions in diverse contexts. Participants will learn to assess situations, analyze information, and evaluate potential outcomes systematically. Emphasis will be placed on understanding decision biases, managing risk, and balancing short-term priorities with long-term goals. Participants will also explore techniques for fostering consensus, soliciting input from stakeholders, and communicating decisions effectively with the objective of improving performance.

This module aims to equip participants with the skills and strategies necessary to build and leverage professional relationships with superiors, peers and team members in church. Participants will learn to cultivate meaningful connections and create mutually beneficial partnerships. The training will emphasize the importance of authenticity, active listening, and reciprocity in fostering genuine relationships. By mastering the art of relationship building, participants will be able to extend their access to willing team members thus enhancing their influence and results while handling.

This module is designed to enhance participants’ ability to convey ideas, build relationships, and drive results through clear and impactful communication. Capstone Project

The capstone project is a crucial aspect of the program that will challenge participants to apply program learnings to real-life challenges or to leverage opportunities in your church.

MEET THE FACULTY

Olujimi Tewe will be the Lead Facilitator during this program. He is a certified Transformational Coach and a member of the Forbes Coaching Council. He has had diverse work experiences leading people transformation initiatives across various industries. He is internationally recognized in his field as a major thought leader on the subject of people transformation and has been consistently invited to various fora to share his knowledge. He had previously worked in the Human Resources development space for several companies including Accenture.

Jimi has also actively been in ministry for over two decades where he has functioned as a Pastor responsible for church planting and growth. He is currently an Associate Pastor with Kingsword Ministries International.
